![]() The direction you face when placing the first compartment of your base determines which side of the hatch the ladder gets placed on. ![]() However, you can still deal with them once you understand the mechanics. If you're like me and somewhat obsessive with builds, then these issues will be a major drag. I love it! Can you show me the issue? I'm sure you don't jump to conclusions without having tested yourself right? I can describe the bug because I was just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around in Creative Mode when I stumbled on it, I was seeing what I could do with the large rooms because I have a bit of a soft spot with having a base near the surface with glass so I can see the Reefbacks above me and I built a second large room below it followed by another below that one, but when I went to try and put a ladder connecting the top room to the room that was below it the game physically wouldn't allow me to build it as if something was blocking that piece and while this was going on I was experimenting with those walls segments you get with the large rooms (probably won't be using them too much though) and while I can't 100% say for certain if they had a hand in why the bug happened but the second room just wouldn't permit anything to be built on it but it also then wouldn't permit me from deconstructing it either even after everything else was gone and it was the only building left in the world, it still wouldn't allow itself to be deconstructed, as if something was inside the structure itself which I know shouldn't have been possible given I couldn't even access inside it.There are three orientation issues when building in Subnautica. ![]() Originally posted by dragonbornzyra:I LOVE IT when devs annoucne they fix bugs, only for you to boot up the game and get slapped in the face by that same bug. Its also the reason for the lack of mods that the base game has. I feel that below zero could be a stronger game, but there needs to be a lot more work done to it. and I do like the setting.īut then again: that is my personal blabla and who am I to judge, anyway?īut what interest me: do you feel subnautica running smooth(er) now?īut what interest me: do you feel subnautica running smooth(er) now? I am not running on the 2.0 version of subnautica, because mods have not been updated yet. in my opinion BZ does a lot of things right. One thing though: the hickups in Subnautica shall be gone and the game shall run as smooth and easy as below zero. It's different in some ways, true, but if it would tell the same story with the same goals and the same setup and all the same mechanics, everybody would complain that those are just the same games, sold twice. Other opinions may state below zero as some good and interesting game and it can do a lot of things right, but doesn't that depend on ones personal opinion?Īnd that below zero can't do things right is just, how to say - wrong, sorry to contradict here. Technically speaking there are quite differences, of course, but both are diving simulations on (the same) distant planet with lots of underwater fauna and flora and with the mechanics of basebuilding and exploring as you dive. Maybe my experiences with Subnautica (1) on XBox One and Below Zero on PC are not the same as yours, but to state that those are completely different games is quite an exaggeration, isn't it? It won't spread through word of mouth and won't have as many streamers playing it. The next game may make others wanna buy the older games, but some players lost interest in any new Subnautica game. There are other lessons to be learned from Below Zero and only time will tell. Subnautica base game was a magic experience. Subnautica base is a completely different game than below zero is, because of everything that it is, and everything that below zero isnt. as seen with below zero, the developers have SERIOUS financial gain possible here, with the third installment, because it will cause people to buy the older games.īesides, the one thing that was learned with below zero, was that it couldnt do what the original did, and that is VERY true. ![]() following that most users are suspecting that their secret announcement coming up, is the announcement of the next subnautica game in the series.
